Summer Youth Development Professional


AmeriCorps Partnering to Protect Children (APPC) is offering a one-time summer position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County.

APPC AmeriCorps members will provide technical assistance and support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County in order to build community and site capacity focused on preventing child abuse; develop and enhance tools to involve service providers; and create outreach tools and processes to engage parents/caregivers and other stakeholders. The potential AmeriCorps member will have a strong interest in helping their community. Examples of projects members will be involved in at your organization might look like: data collection, producing newsletters, researching information for website improvement/design, and additional duties specific to Boys and Girls Club.
