Enroll your child today! Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County membership is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 18. The Membership form, Safe Passage Policy, AND the last page of the Handbook must be completed by a parent/guardian each school year and each summer prior to a member attending. Memberships are on a space available basis. Once you have completed our membership form and the Safe Passage Policy form please return the form to the Club with payment.

$25 After School Club (August - May)
After school hours are:
Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 6:00pm and 3:00pm - 7:00pm for 7th grade and up, with snack and dinner provided.
Club hours during school holidays and all Club days are 9:30am - 6:00pm; early bird begins at 7:30am and early bird fees will be charged.
$50 Summer Club (June - August)
Summer hours are 9:30 a.m - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with lunch and snack provided, early bird begins at 7:30 a.m.
Our goal is to keep costs as low as possible to not exclude anyone based on economic circumstances, however additional fees may be charged for field trips.
Summer Club membership is accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Priority is given to current club members. Summer club runs Monday – Friday 9:30am-6:00pm, June 10th – August 16th. We will be closed July 1st – 5th. Summer Club fee is $50/member.
Summer Club is available for children aged 6, who have completed kindergarten, through youth aged 18.
Early Bird Club is available for your convenience from 7:30am-9:29am Monday – Friday and the cost is $5/day/member. Scholarship forms will be available at orientations.
Summer applications will be avaliable on April 1. Please complete pages 1-4 of the document for each member you are enrolling. These must be returned to the Club at an orientation. The Handbook portion of the document is for your reference.
To aid in communication with members’ families and to keep parents and guardians informed of updated Club information, it is required for at least one parent or guardian to attend an orientation prior to their child’s enrollment for summer Club. Membership applications can be downloaded from our website or picked up at the Club after April 1. However, applications will only be accepted at an orientation. Scholarship forms will also be available at orientations for those who choose to apply.
When Ames Public School is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Club will be closed. When Ames Public Schools close early due to weather, the Club will be open after school lets out, and will close at 5:30 p.m.
Invite a Friend! Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County membership continues to grow each year. We encourage our Club members to invite friends to visit our Club for a day and consider becoming a member. We also encourage our Community youth to visit our Club and consider becoming a member. All visitors must provide parent contact information upon arrival to the Club.
